Asus Unveils Radeon R9 290X DirectCU II Graphics Card

R9-290X-DirectCU-II-preview-3
I know AMD fans and those AMD fans that are also AUS fans have something to cheer about as it has been confirmed that there will be a R9 290X DirectCU II Graphics card hitting the market soon. For those who do not know DirectCU means that the GPU makes direct contact with copper of the cooling block, and CU is the Periodic Table Of Elements symbol for copper.
The II means there are 2 fans and there are also four nickel-plated heat pipes with at least two 10 mm pipes, and a PCB strengthening bracket.
ASUS cards are always geared to overclock well and hopefully we will see great results from this card when nit hits the shelves. As for now the exact technical specifications have not been release, but how much different can it really be as we already know what a R9 290X is, and for the fans of ASUS they know what to expect from DirectCU cooling.

The information on this entire thing is very new and is subject to change according to what ASUS decides and we will update you with more news as it unfolds. For now you know its coming, so for those fans who have been waiting you know your wait time in this line is getting shorter. Thanks for reading Tech Of Tomorrow, and welcome to hump day.
